Back in 2011, our backyard Walnut tree was knocked down during a terrible storm. We were sad to see our 50 yr old tree go, but were determined to let the tree live on through artwork. All the natural wood used in our shop comes from our Fallen Walnut tree. We cut the wood by hand, which allowed for the beautiful wood grain textures to show. This beautiful wood set us apart from the rest! We later incorporated reclaimed wood with hand-painted finishes.

We're a couple of professional artists who have degrees in art, design, and photography. With a love for painting and woodworking, we jumped at the chance to sell our stuff on Etsy. Our sunburst mirrors and artwork became a hit and customers were lining up with their orders. The creativity in our products comes from our very own imagination. Only the most unique art and decor designs are sold in our shop. Each and every product handmade by Fallen Walnut has a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. We strive to develop fresh modern pieces that become the focal point in your home!

Alongside the Walnut wood from our backyard tree we've branched out (haha) using reclaimed wood from residential sources. We're proud to say that 95% of our wood, metal, and paint supplies are from recycled materials! Even our shipping materials are a green alternative to traditional bubble wrap, made from 40% recycled content with up to 20% from post-consumer sources. The only thing that's not recycled is our design and creativity, which is 100% original!
